Jeff has more than 25 years of experience as a management consultant focused on business strategy and financial analytics to support the creation of client shareholder value within the energy, utility, wireless and technology industries. He was the founding partner and served as the CEO of Veracity Innovation, a joint venture with the Gas Technology Institute commercializing natural gas-related technologies. Jeff holds an MBA with a Specialization in Finance with Honors from The University of Chicago, Booth GSB and a B.A. in Economics with Distinction and Phi Beta Kappa from Whitman College.

George is one of the longest-tenured venture capital investors in the Energy technology industry. He founded and led three corporate venture capital groups: ConocoPhillips Technology Ventures Investments, Energy Technology Ventures and Chevron Technology Ventures, the longest running corporate venture capital program in the Energy industry. George served as the President and CEO of DeepFlex Inc., a VC-backed energy tech company. He previously worked in Exploration & Production leadership roles at Chevron. George holds an MBA from Tulane University, a M.S. in Geology from the University of Kansas and a B.S. in Earth Sciences from the University of New Orleans.

Kevin’s more than 20-year career has focused on investing and strategy development in the global energy industry. He led GE’s program investing in emerging technology companies in the Energy industry from 2005 through 2013 and led a joint $300 million fund with ConocoPhillips and NRG Energy.  Kevin’s prior career focused on the O&G sector, including key roles in about 15 private equity and debt investments, and 9 years as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton.  Kevin has an MBA from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.


Paul Dickerson

Paul is a recognized leader on all matters related to energy.  He has served as an international law firm Partner, an investment bank Managing Director, and a private equity firm Operating Advisor.  Paul was the Chief Operating Officer for the United States Department of Energy's  Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and also served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Commerce.  Paul is a CPA who holds a JD from South Texas College of Law, a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas, and licenses with FINRA.

Ben has 12 years of experience in the energy innovation ecosystem, as an entrepreneur, corporate manager and venture investor. He spent four years at Chevron Energy Solutions, Chevron’s renewable energy group, where he led the strategic alliances group and helped setup the renewable energy tax credit investing group. Ben was an associate at AECOM, the world’s largest integrated infrastructure company and a founder of Trophos Energy, a developer of microbial fuel cells. He earned a BS in Chemistry and an MBA from Stanford University and a Master's in Chemistry from Harvard University.

Ben has 14 years of industrial, natural resources and technology investment and advisory experience. Prior to joining Energy Innovation Capital, he was a Principal at Calera Capital. Chad has 20 years of broad-ranging business and finance experience including stints in M&A at Honeywell, power plant project development at Coastal Power Company, and Treasurer of a $1.4B private home-builder.  He co-founded the corporate venture capital group at ConocoPhillips where he spent 5 years investing in energy tech start-ups before serving as VP of finance at venture-backed start-up Modumetal, Inc.  Chad earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Construction Management from Brigham Young University.

Vikki has 30 years of energy and technology strategic marketing experience. She drives growth through understanding market needs, commercializing differentiated value propositions, and delivering stakeholder engagement and communications plans that build brand and enhance reputation. She has consulted with startups and large firms, was the CMO for GE Oil and Gas – Drilling and Surface, and was Global Marketing Director for Shell Global Solutions. Vikki completed the Executive Leadership Program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland and holds a B.S. in Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, and a guest lecturer at select university MBA programs.

John is a retired Venture Executive from Chevron Technology Ventures. He was responsible for identifying and executing venture capital investments in companies that have technology beneficial to Chevron, and assisting in the introduction and deployment of the technology. John has over 35 years of O&G industry experience. He is currently a Rice Alliance Advisory Board member, and is active in HTC Energy events. John has a BS in Earth Sciences from the University of Minnesota Duluth, a MS in Geophysics from Purdue University (Phi Kappa Phi) and an MBA from St. Mary’s College.
